Tanner's first letter from Mexico City 12/03/14

Hola my friends!

Elder Berry reporting in from Mexico City! Flight was a little rough but not too bad. I flew with Elder Niko, Elder Madsen and another elder and then met some more elders down here in the airport. I went over my immunization record with the doc and he said I'm missing hepatitis A and tdap which is tetnus. He said if you guys could find the date that i got those immunizations and email me the date of when i got them, then i don't have to get them here. if you can't find a record of those then i have to get them here. here at the MTC they don't have typhoid... so i have have to get it in Chile or go without it. They only gave us 5 min to do this email so i have to run

Email works, but Tanner needs real letters because his time on the internet each week is restricted. You can send paper letters one of two ways.

You may send letters to Tanner free of charge as follows:

Go to DearElder.com click “Open New Account” near the top left side of the page. Create a free account (or “Log In” if you already have an account). Click “Select Mission (pouch)” and select “Chile Osorno.” Click “Write a Letter.” Letters are printed by DearElder each Monday morning and sent by private courier pouch on Tuesday, free of charge, from the missionary department in Salt Lake City to Tanner’s mission office. The mission office in Osorno will distribute letters as missionaries travel back and forth to the mission office.

You can also send letters by regular USPS. The cost is $1.15 for a one-ounce letter. Global Forever stamps are available for purchase at usps.com or at your local post office.
